Just under two years ago, S.B. Thompson Construction completed the construction on Tri-Tech’s new office building in San Marcos, Texas. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the services you provided throughout the process. This particular project was unique and held its fair share of obstacles. Off-site utility challenges were inherited, but you all did a great job expediting all the issues that arose as timely as possible. The plans I provided to S.B. Thompson Construction contained many omissions and RFI’s, but Sid and Scott did a tremendous job helping develop and revise the plans with assistance from specific tradesman. Because of their dedication and strife, they were able to obtain accurate cost estimates from contractors and ultimately construct our office building “the right way”.I would strongly recommend Thompson Construction to developers for any commercial or residential projects. I do not condone cutting corners and feel as though Thompson Construction and all of their sub-contractors were of the same mindset. I will certainly use Thompson construction again for any future projects.I greatly appreciate all your professionalism, ethics, and integrity as people and as contractors.
This letter is being sent for the purpose of thanking you for the excellent job you did on our house in Sattler. We have many visitors and all of them remark on the quality of the construction and materials.
We found your staff and subcontractors to be obliging and respectful.
As a result, we have no problem recommending your firm to others who may be considering building a house or a commercial project.

To Whom It May Concern:
S.B. Thompson Construction built the building for my supermarket in Mason, Texas in 2006. Throughout the process, from engineering to completion I found Mr. Sidney Thompson to be highly professional, knowledgeable and conscientious.
The project was completed ahead of schedule. The quality of the finished product is excellent. The building was completed on budget, which in itself is an accomplishment considering material price increases and change orders.
The key to success in any project is communication and Sidney did an excellent job communicating throughout each phase of the project. His relationship with his subcontractors appeared seamless and highly professional.
For quality well thought-out construction in a commercial application, I would recommend S.B. Thompson Construction without reservation.

To Whom It May Concern:
Please be advised that Mr. Sidney Thompson of S.B. Thompson Construction is a preferred vendor of San Marcos Baptist Academy.
Mr. Thompson has successfully completed three major projects on our campus during the past three years:
2007 - The Alumni Plaza is a major focal point on campus. The Plaza was part of our Centennial Celebration and was a custom project utilizing unique features from our former campus.
2008 - Campus storage facility. While this project was a standard metal building, the site presented some unique challenges to meet the needs of a sloping lot.
2009 - The Mafrige Fitness Center was a unique addition to an existing structure. We were pleased that upon completion, the structure appears to be part of the original construction.
We were very pleased with Mr. Thompson's diligence to detail and communication throughout the course of construction. He always kept our best interests in mind. If you have questions concerning any facet of Mr. Thompson's ability or business ethics.

To Whom It May Concern:
To anyone considering S.B. Thompson Construction as general contractor for your project this letter comes as a recommendation to utilize Mr. Thompson's services.
In 2003 I assumed control and ownership of Wimberley ACE Hardware, a successful hardware retail store for over 30 years. In our long term plans was the expansion to our second store. We determined Canyon Lake to be our best location and began the long process of financing and construction in 2004.
A major part of this project was to choose the right contractor to head the development of the property and ready it to be occupied. In our study of the construction companies in our area along with a review of completed projects Thompson Construction was the clear choice for the Canyon Lake project.
After awarding the bid to Thompson Construction we found Mr. Thompson's reputation was well founded. He is a pleasure to interact with. Our project involved five acres of property with a 32,000 square foot retail building. In a development of this size you can be sure of many unexpected surprises and Mr. Thompson addressed every issue that came up head-on and found acceptable resolution every time.
We were especially impressed with the professional resources he has developed over his years of experience. This was especially helpful as those unexpected issues arose and he had the perfect person to call on to assist in resolution.
Despite our many unexpected hurdles involving environmental and state agency added costs Mr. Thompson was able to complete the project a head of time and with minimal cost over runs. Without Mr. Thompson's intervention those cost would have been substantially more.
The quality of the finished product was above expectations and should serve us well for decades to come. As with any new project, when completed and lived with awhile you find things you would do different but in this situation they have proven to be very few.
We were blessed to have a company the caliper of Thompson Construction to take on and complete our project. This was quite an ordeal and they made it much easier to get to the end wand see it opened and productive.
We contracted with Thompson Construction in 2004 to build our Ace Hardware located in Canyon Lake, TX. Their professionalism, honesty, quality of subcontractors, and ability to stay on our tight time frame is exactly why 9 years later we chose Thompson Construction to demo and rebuild our Ace Hardware in Wimberley,TX., after we suffered a devastating fire. Knowing that I had complete confidence and did not have to worry about the day to day detail was invaluable during a very difficult time for business.

Rick and I are just thrilled with our new home! Thank you so much for everything. We enjoyed working with you and Julie and the subcontractors. Everyone did a great job! - Rickey and Dee
I watched every phase of our house being built. I was very pleased with the quality of workmanship. Three years later, I am still very pleased and proud of our house. I highly recommend Sidney Thompson as a quality builder. - John and Annette
We are very happy with the workmanship of our home by S.B. Thompson Construction. Too often contractors and homebuilders are at each other's throats within weeks of beginning construction. Not in our case. Years later we are friends with Sidney Thompson and his family. We found him to be honest, responsible, competent and cooperative. If we build a home again, we'll choose S.B. Thompson Construction again. - Rene
This was our first experience in building a home. Sidney assisted us step by step through the process. He reviewed the plans and made recommendations that were energy efficient and cost effective. Our home was built to keep our energy needs at a minimum. We have had many compliments about the quality of the workmanship, both interior and exterior. Last but not least, the house was completed in a timely manner which met our expectations the time set by Sidney. We would highly recommend S.B. Thompson Construction as the builder for your home. - Herk
These native Minnesotans feel very much at home now in Texas, and sure don't miss the snow and cold! 'Paradise Found' is the name they've chosen for their ranch style stone home on the Blanco River…you'll see why once you visit this charming 'big-little' home and cottage. The lot is long and narrow with a spectacular deep water view. They enjoy the 'Disney-like' production daily of geese, deer, turtles, heron, birds and butterflies from the river-facing screened porch and patio. The home's interior is open and spacious with 9' ceilings and 8' sliders.
The Great Room features a 16' limestone wall with corner fireplace. The furnishings throughout are very eclectic…mixing Orientals with Kilims, majolica pottery and oyster plates with crystal, primitive pine and oak with painted and carved Mexican pieces. The owner's philosophy about decorating is 'if you like it, buy it!' Obviously, it works well for them in this warm and comfortable showplace. As retired realtors, they've had years of visual training and home building experience. This is their first time they had built their own home (they had rehabbed many) and they only visited the job twice during its 5 month construction.
They attribute their 100% satisfaction outcome from doing an extensive search process for the perfect builder and designing the perfect house plan prior to building. They hired a Wimberley builder, Sidney Thompson of S.B. Thompson Construction, to build their dream home based on his quality, professionalism, integrity and communication skills. They also visited his prior build jobs and interviewed the homeowners. They knew then that he shared their vision.
Building our new house with Sidney was a pleasure because of his vast experience and patient, good nature. Highly recommended, he consistently offered us creative solutions and a positive attitude, while his subcontractors were professional craftsmen who did quality work to meet his high standards. Sidney was always willing to give us careful attention, often far beyond what most contractors consider their job. We will long appreciate the expertise he brought to custom building our unique new home. - Tom and Judie
